Chorus News

We’re proud to share that The Faithful, a quartet affiliated with the Bookcliff Barbershop Harmony Chorus, recently achieved an outstanding honor in the National Veterans Creative Arts Competition.

The quartet first competed in their local Veterans Creative Arts Competition, where they earned 1st place in the Folk Music division with their beautiful rendition of “Shenandoah.” That performance advanced to the national level of judging, where they once again took 1st place in their division!

The National Veterans Creative Arts Competition is a nationwide program through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs that recognizes the artistic talents of veterans in music, visual arts, writing, drama, and dance. Winners from local VA facilities across the country advance to national judging, and gold-medal winners are invited to the annual National Veterans Creative Arts Festival.

Because of their national win, The Faithful will attend the 2026 National Veterans Creative Arts Festival in Columbia, South Carolina, June 9–14, where gold medalists from across the United States will gather to perform, exhibit their work, and celebrate the creative achievements of America’s veterans.

Members of The Faithful say they feel deeply honored to represent their fellow veterans and share their music at this national event.

Please join us in congratulating them on this incredible accomplishment! 👏
